Geography and climate

Climate
Voskia has a typical Mediterranean climate, including hot, dry summers with temperatures between 25°C and 35°C that could be pushed up during heatwaves caused by hot, dry Sirocco winds from the Sahara. Winters are mild and wet with average temperatures between 8°C and 12°C; rarely lower than 5°C, although occasional cold fronts from the north have been known to happen.

Vegetation
Voskia's vegetation consists of drought-resistant flora such as cypresses and olive trees and shrubs that can be found elsewhere in the Mediterranean as well.

Fauna
The most noteworthy endemic animal is the Voskian shrew, which is known for its large ears. Another common animal is the Voskian wall lizard, which can be found in the entire country. Voskia is further home to various insect species, including flies, butterflies and moths, beetles, and grasshoppers.
