POLITICS

Voskia is a monarchy ruled by the House of Assagure. The current monarch is King Ottaviu (Octavius) IV, who ascended to the throne in 2004.


Legislative

Voskia has a Westminster type bicameral institution consisting of the Camere dí Diputati (Chamber of Deputies, 153 members) and the Senate (Senate, 25 members).

Elections for the Camere dí Diputati are held every four years on the Saturday preceding the first day of Advent (i.e. between 26 November and 2 December) using a first-past-the-post system. Early elections can be called, in which case the next regular elections will take place on the last Saturday preceding the first day of Advent that falls within four years after the early elections. The last elections took place on 27 November 2021; the next ones will take place on or before 29 November 2025.
