The last elections in 2017 and 2021 were won by the
Fortress Party (DW, Dyrt Warh).

Judiciary
Judicial power in Wyster is executed by judges, who are appointed
by the Farseucstat Threh sie Arstat ('Royal Committee of
Law'), which consists of 33 legal experts nominated by the Uth
Binder and appointed by the King for 7 year terms. Judges are
appointed for 4 to 7 year terms, except for the
13 judges of the Uth Threh Peg ('Royal High Court', the
constitutional court), who are appointed for life. There are
courts that have general responsibilities and those that deal
with specific legal matters. The Munustyren se Affyr

cases brought against people or institutions who are
suspected of committing criminal offenses.

Forces', IGW) provide military defence independently or within
international alliances according to international
agreements. Conscription has existed since 1930, but has not
been actively implemented since 1996, making the IGW in
practice a professional standing army. The Commander-in-Chief
is the King (in practise represented by the Minister of Defence)
while operational command falls under the responsibility of the
Joint Chiefs of the General Staff of the IGW.
